PLAN YOUR VISIT

Perched on a sunny plateau in the heart of the mountains, Verbier, Switzerland, has carefully maintained its charm as an alpine village. Verbier is more than an ideal venue for an Art Summit, it's a retreat away from the distractions of urban life, a place to find inspiration and share dialogue. getting here

There are many ways to reach Verbier. The nearest airport is Geneva. From there, driving to Verbier takes 2 hours. However, the snow conditions in the winter may result in a 2.5 hours transfer by car.

Alternatively, the Milan or Zürich airports are both accessible from Verbier. From either airport, take the train to le Chable (each approx 3,5 hours), and then a gondola or taxi up to Verbier (15 minutes).

If you want to taste the regional cuisine, Le Caveau is an excellent choice too, cheese lovers will love the fondue. Le Rouge Restaurant & Club is a multi-faceted establishment with class and style but without any of the stuffiness, it's also nice for après-ski. The Cordée des Alpes is a glamorous restaurant which serves Alpine haute cuisine, and the chique Chalet d'Adrien also offers fine dining. The large terrace overlooking Verbier is a favorite for Sunday lunch, with italian gourmet specialities, grilled food and a large buffet selection of cakes. The homely gourmet restaurant La Grange, besides offering classic Swiss local cuisine, has also a wide variety of local wines.
